Heavy Duty (HD) is a rugged, tray-style bike rack built to carry anything from lightweight road bikes to downhill shred-sleds and e-bikes up to 65 lbs. Made entirely from corrosion-resistant aluminum, it’s engineered for long-term durability on pavement or off-road.

The rack arms securely hold your tires and eliminate contact with your bike’s frame or fork, while the quick-load lever system makes loading fast, secure, and satisfying. The simple, adjustable design fits everything from 16” kids’ bikes to 29ers, and accommodates up to 5” tires with the optional Fat Tire Spacer Kit. 

The Slotted Hitch Bar allows for 3 inches of depth adjustment while still utilizing the included Hitch Bar Lock. Our proprietary security wrench engages an integrated anti-wobble expander ball, locking the rack solidly into 2” or 2.5” hitches.

Available as a dedicated single or double base rack, HD can accommodate up to two Add-On trays and a wide range of accessories to build the setup you need. With a complete lineup of replacement parts, your bikes and gear will be hauled safely for years to come. Whatever you ride, HD is ready to haul it.

ONE-HANDED RATCHET UPGRADE

Loading and unloading bikes has never been easier. Our one-handed operation, introduced on the Super Duty in 2024, is available on new Quik Rack, Heavy Duty, Roof Rack, or Tandem Roof Rack models—or as an upgrade for the same existing racks with the One-Handed Upgrade Kit or Fat Tire Spacer Kit.

The redesigned glide bar and red lever deliver a smooth press-and-lift action, letting you disengage the ratchet to open or close the arms with one hand. When you’re ready to lock it back in, just push down for a solid click that confirms your bike is secure and ready to roll.

The bent arms can also fold down out of the way without requiring any additional hardware, allowing for easier use with the V-Style Ramp.
