The Heavy Duty carries road, gravel, mountain, downhill, and e-bikes up to 65 lbs per tray. Out of the box, it fits 16”–29” wheels with tires up to 3” wide, or up to 5” wide when paired with our optional Fat Tire Spacer Kit.

Yes. The Heavy Duty is built to handle off-road and gravel terrain, and it is RV and travel trailer rated for up to 2 bikes max (either a Heavy Duty Double base rack or a Heavy Duty Single base rack with 1 Add-On).

The Heavy Duty supports up to 65 lbs per tray. On a Single base rack, all 3 spots support 65 lbs each. On a Double base rack, spots 1 and 2 support 65 lbs each, while spots 3 and 4 support 45 lbs each (225 lbs max total capacity). For heavier e-bikes or e-motos, see our Super Duty or Xtreme Duty models.

Yes. The Heavy Duty Single carries 1 bike out of the box and expands up to 3 bikes with Heavy Duty Add-Ons. The Heavy Duty Double carries 2 bikes and expands up to 4 bikes total.

Our slotted hitch bar uses an integrated anti-wobble expander ball system. Tightening the expansion mechanism with our proprietary security wrench locks the rack solid inside your 2” or 2.5” hitch receiver to eliminate play and sway, even on bumpy off-road trails.
