LOADING AND UNLOADING 1UP USA RAcks
Starting with the Quick Rack (QR) and Heavy Duty (HD), the process begins by lifting the red levers and opening the arms on both sides. Once the bike is placed in the rack, the rear and front wheels are secured by pressing the arms into the tires until a slight impression is visible—this ensures a snug, secure fit. To unload, the arms are pressed into the tire to release tension, and the red levers are lifted to open the arms and remove the bike.
Next, we look at the Equip'D (EQ) rack system, which operates similarly but uses buttons instead of levers. To load a bike, you press and hold the button to open each arm. Once the bike is in place, push the arms into the tires until you see an impression. For unloading, press the arms into the tire again, press the buttons, and move the arms back to free the bike.
Finally, the Super Duty (SD) rack features a convenient one-handed mechanism. Press the button in, rotate the button upwards to release the mechanism, and open the arms. Before loading the bike, make sure to engage the locking mechanism by pressing the button down on both sides. Then, pull the arms into the tires until there’s a visible impression, securing the bike. To unload, press the arms into the tires, press the button in, rotate the button upward, and open the arms to release the bike.
Whether you're using the Quick Rack (QR), Equip'D (EQ), Heavy Duty (HD), or Super Duty (SD) system, this step-by-step guide helps ensure your bike is properly secured and easy to unload when you're ready to ride.
